Weldon D. Bennett

Liberal KS ˜ Weldon D. Bennett, 50, Liberal, KS, died Friday, May 19, 2011 at his home following a sudden illness. ˜˜ He was born April 1, 1961 at Beaver, OK, the son of Alfred W. & Zella M. Chamberlin Bennett.˜˜ ˜ He attended school in Liberal˜ and Beaver, and had worked at National Beef Packing.˜ For the past ten years he was employed at Wal Mart. ˜ He is survived by two brothers, Warren "Dean" Bennett and wife Connie, Colorado City, CO; Wilmer Bennett, Liberal, KS; one sister, Wilma Noble, Derby, KS.˜ He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Larry Bennett, a foster sister Louise Harbison. ˜˜ Funeral services will be conducted 10:30 A.M. Tuesday at the Miller Chapel, with Rev. Rex Petty presiding. ˜˜ Interment will be in the Hugoton Cemetery. ˜˜˜ Friends may call at the Miller Mortuary 4-8 P.M. Sunday and 9 A.M.-8 P.M. Monday.
