Tamu T. Cathey

Tamu T. Cathey, born October 16, 1976 in Compton, California to Bennie J. Stamps and Alford Cathe. She departed this life November 28, 2020, at St. Francis Hospital, Wichita, Kansas. Tamu worked at Applebees in Liberal for the past 9 years; she enjoyed working and meeting new people and making new friends. She leaves to celebrate her life: two sibling: Alfred & Alford Cathey, Fredrick OK.; five step siblings Aunt Sandra McCoy, Fredrick, OK., step mother Lisa Cathey, Fredrick, OK.; three maternal aunts: Christine (Robert) Hammond, Liberal, KS., Pearl Williams (Ray) Quiroz, Bakersfield, CA. and Celia A. Lee, Santa Barbara, California; three uncles: Bobby (Jeanette) & M.C. (Alberta) Stamps, Pittsburgh, CA., Fred Ellis, Monroe, LA; and a host of loving cousins, and special friends. Tamu was preceded in death by: Mother, Bennie, & Father, Alford, & one Sister Sharla. A Private Family Memorial Service will be held for Tamu, Saturday, January 9, 2021, 11:00 at the Miller Mortuary Chapel. The Service will be Live Streamed through the Miller Mortuary Facebook page for her friends to view. Cremation has already taken place.
