Samantha Stuck

Samantha Lu Stuck was born February 11, 1939, in Seward County, Kansas, to Mildred and Irwin White. She graduated in 1957 from Liberal High School in Liberal, KS. She married her husband of 66 years, Orville Junior Stuck on August 20, 1957. Samantha worked in the oilfield supply store for 30 years. When she wasn’t working or taking care of her family, she enjoyed playing software and coaching kid’s softball. She also enjoyed square dancing, bowling, and working in the church along with adult coloring. Some of her greatest joys was seeing her grandkids and great grandkids.

Samantha passed from this life on March 29, 2024, in Cushing, Oklahoma.

Samantha is survived by her husband Jr; daughter, Brenda Huxman and husband Brent of Topeka, KS; daughter-in-law, Kathaleen Stuck of Oklahoma City, OK; grandsons, Niles Stuck and wife Anna of Edmond, OK, and Micheal Stuck of Worchester, MA; great grandchildren, Henry Stuck and Sophia Stuck of Edmond, OK, Mary and Samantha Stuck of Worchester, MA, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mildred and Irwin White; son, Terry Wayne Stuck; brothers, Edwin White, Carl White, and Robert White and sister, Mardell Taylor.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at Cushing Christian Church officiated by Jim Forrest under the direction of Palmer Marler Funeral Home.  The burial will be held at Liberal Cemetery in Liberal, KS on Friday, April 5, 2024, at 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Samantha’s name to the Cushing Christian Church.
