Robert E. Sloan

Robert Eugene "Bob" Sloan, 84, of Winfield, passed away on Friday November 29, 2024 at the Kansas Veterans Home in Winfield, KS. 

He was born on July 3, 1940 to John and Donia (Burns) Sloan at Liberal, KS. 

Bob was a proud US Army Veteran. He had worked for many years as a Draftsman, Welder, and Machinist.

He is survived by his sister, Billie Jean Wriston of Liberal, KS; nephews, Keith Long, Jim Sloan, Dale Cole and nieces, Patti Sullivan, Betty Sloan, Kristi Long, and Debbie Bailey.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Karen Boese, Marilyn Bailey, and brother Wally Sloan.

Visitation will be 04:00 pm to 7:00 pm Thursday December 5, 2024 at Miller Mortuary, Liberal, KS.

Funeral Services 2:00 pm Friday December 6, 2024 at the Miller Mortuary Chapel, with Pastor Rex Petty, officiating.

Burial will follow and take place in the Liberal City Cemetery.
