Rafaela Sandoval Delgado

Rafaela Sandoval Delgado, 84, of Liberal, passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at her home.

She was born on October 24, 1938 to Jose Cruz Sandoval and Leandra Delgado at Zacatecas, Mexico.

On February 16, 1963 she married Juan Ortiz Gonzalez at Juarez, Mexico.

Rafaela enjoyed gardening, cooking, knitting, and walking in the afternoons. Her greatest joy was being a loving mother & grandmother.
She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church of Liberal.

Rafaela is survived by her loving husband Juan Ortiz Gonzalez, Four Daughters, Maria Mauldin of Liberal, KS, Maria Refugio Ortiz of Juarez, MX, Alejandrina Ortiz of El Paso, TX, Karla Ortiz of El Paso, TX; Three Sons, Jose Antonio Ortiz of Juarez, Mexico, Jose Guadalupe Ortiz of Juarez, Mexico, Raul Ortiz of Juarez, Mexico; Three Sisters, Avelina Sandoval of Redlands, Ca, Graciela Maritano of Indianapolis, IN, Teresa Ortiz of N Hollywood, CA; Two Brothers, Jose Sandoval of Laverne, CA, Tomas Sandoval of Los Angeles, CA; 21 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren.

Viewing will be 10:30 am - 7:00 pm Monday, November 21, 2022, at Miller Mortuary, Liberal, Kansas.

Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at the Miller Mortuary Chapel, with Fr. Augustine Owusu, officiating.
