R. E. GRIFFITH

LIBERAL, KS R. E. Griffith, 85, died Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at his home. He was born August 9, 1926 to Ronald and Berniece Robinson Griffith at Gray, OK. He served in the US Navy from 1945 to 1949.˜ He worked in many capacities including railroad, oil field related, farming and R. E. Griffith Trucking. Leon is survived by his daughter, Carolyn Mull and husband Jim, Florida; his son, Jim Eden and wife Linda, Colorado and his step-son, Jerry Griffith and wife Shirley, Liberal, KS; three grandchildren, Rhonda Wilson, Florida; Richard Huches, Florida; Staci Farrar, Topeka, KS; and his step-grandson, Bryan Griffith of Liberal; 11 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.˜ He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Clarice Eden.
