NORMAN RAY SCHAWO

Norman R. Schawo, 69, died Saturday March 23, 2013 at Satanta District Hospital, Satanta, KS. He was born September 12, 1943 in Liberal, KS, the son of Elmer F. and Rosalie A. (Ridenour) Schawo. He married Bobbie Gunn at Shawnee, OK in 1996. She survives. ˜Norman was in the Air Force for 26 years.˜ He was retired. Other survivors include sons, Derrick K. Schawo, Grantspass, OR; ; three daughters;˜sister, Esther Garver, St Mary's, GA, brothers, Ralph Schawo, Coolidge, AZ; James Schawo, IN˜and nieces and nephews.˜ He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Ruth Anne and son Steven Schawo. Funeral Services will be 9:30 Saturday at the First Baptist Church, Liberal, KS.˜ Interment will be in Liberal Cemetery, Liberal, KS. Friends may call at Miller Mortuary 10:00 A.M.-7 P.M.
