Liberal KS ˜Norma Jean Short, 77, Liberal, KS, died Friday, October 7, 2011 at Southwest Medical Center, Liberal, KS. ˜˜ She was born September 23, 1934 at Norwood, MO. ˜ On December 1, 1951, she married Lowell K. Short at Salem, AR, he died May 19, 1996. ˜˜ She and her husband owned and operated Lowell's Jack & Jill Store for many years.˜ She also worked at El Kan Drug. ˜ She˜ is survived by one daughter Hedy Hull, Liberal, KS; two grandchildren, Heather Hull, Liberal, KS & Craig Hull, Jr., Plains, KS; two great-granddaughters, Kylie & Katie Jennings, Liberal, KS; a brother-in-law, one nephew and two nieces. She was preceded in˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜ death by her parents, ten brothers &˜ a sister. ˜ Private graveside services will be conducted in the Liberal Cemetery with Rev.
