Neva L. Day

Neva L. Day, 95, passed away on February 23, 2024 in Liberal, KS.  

She was born on January 31, 1929 in Liberal, KS. The daughter of LeRoy and Nellie (Carlile) Craig. Neva has been a resident of Oklahoma, Kansas and Nebraska. She retired from Dodge City, Kansas Board of Education as the Deputy Clerk and Treasurer for 16 years. But in her life, she had a lot of different employments to make a living for her children.

Neva was married to Ewell W. Robertson - deceased, Rollo Day, also deceased. Rollo proceded her in death after almost 55 years of marriage. He passed away on June 22, 2013.

She leaves behind two Sons, Joel Dean Robertson & wife Jeanette of Newcastle, OK, Donald D. Day & wife Terri of Blue Rapids, KS; Four Daughters, Leona J Masbruch & husband Duane of Leesburg, FL, Cynthia A. Avery & husband Leon of Yakima, WA, Carole J. Holman & husband Dennis of Greeley, CO, Mary L. Neumann & husband Larry of Hondo, TX; Brother Fred Craig & wife Sandy of Woodward, OK; 16 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 11 great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.   

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 husbands, 1 grandchild, 1 brother, and 6 sisters.

There will be no public viewing.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024, 10:30 am at the Tyrone Cemetery.
