Melania Lynn Roa

Melania Lynn Roa, 55, of Liberal, passed away on Thursday August 9, 2019 at her home in Liberal. She was born on May 8, 1964 to Fred and Flora (Ragsdale) Goldman at Spearman, TX. On August 18, 1984 she married Steve Roa at Abilene, KS; he preceded her in death on July 17, 2012 Growing up she lived in many places including Panama, Bermuda, the Phillipines. She worked in the medical field as a scrub tech for 25+ years in Texas, Kansas and Colorado. She enjoyed interior decorating, family outings and having a good laugh! Melania also loved spending time with her family and loved animals; especially her cat Dart. Melania is survived by her Son, Nick Roa of Liberal, KS; Daughter, Desaree Roa of Colorado Springs, CO; Sister, Kim Link of Saucier, MS; Brother, Tom Goldman of Long Beach, MS; Niece, Rochelle Allardice of Dallas, TX. She was also preceded in death by her Mother, Flora Lee Wood. There will be no public viewing as cremation has taken place.
