LOIS KATHERINE PFEIFER

Lois K. Pfeifer, 85, Liberal, KS, died Monday, January 7, 2013 at Wheatridge ˜Park Care Center, Liberal, KS. ˜She was born August 2, 1927 at Liberal, KS, the daughter of Clarence Alfred˜and Norma Kate Taylor Sallee. Lois married Karl Frederick Pfeifer February 13, 1945 at Liberal, KS. Hedied September 11, 1978. ˜She graduated from Forgan High School in 1945 then raised her family on the farm between Forgan and Beaver. ˜Survivors include two daughters, Karla French and husband Ron, Tipton, OK; Diana Pfeifer Hendon and husband Rocky, Okarche, OK; four brothers Clarence "Ted" Sallee and wife Pat, Maize, KS; Harold Sallee and wife Sharon, Liberal, KS; Kenneth Sallee and wife Mary Ester, Beaver, OK; Robert Sallee and wife Cindy, Liberal, KS; two sisters Dorothy Edwards and husband Audy, El Dorado, OK; Mary Ann Pittser and husband Lonnie, Liberal, KS: 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and daughter Suzanne Felts who died June 28, 2012 in Edmond, OK. ˜Memorial Services will be January 18 at 10 am Miller Mortuary with Minister Mike Suiter and Ron French presiding. Burial in the Forgan Cemetery. ˜Family suggests memorials be sent to Tipton Childrens Home, High Plains˜Childrens Home, or West View Boys Home in care of the mortuary.
