JANICE NIPPLE

Janice S. Nipple, 71, died Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at Pioneer Manor in Hugoton, KS. She was born July 1, 1942 at Stillwell, OK, the daughter of Ralph and Lorene (Barker) Hill. She married Kermit Nipple December 30, 1970 at the First Christian Church in Liberal, KS. Kermit preceded her in death on February 15, 2014. Janice was a graduate of Liberal High School, class of 1959. Janice was a co-owner of the 2nd Street Bookstore in Liberal since 1989. She was a waitress at the Chuckwagon, Liberal Inn and various other local restaurants before purchasing the bookstore. Janice loved her cats and dogs, crocheting, and sewing . Her survivors include 4 Brother in laws - Stanley Nipple and wife Yvonne of Liberal, KS, Fredrick Nipple and wife Diantha of Alamosa, CO, Donald Napell and wife Janice of Hays, KS, Cary Alexander and wife Muriel of Hays, KS. Several aunts and cousins. She was also preceded in death by her parents and four children. Memorial Services will be 1:30 PM Friday, March 28, 2014 at Miller Mortuary Chapel with Tim McCrary officiating. A family burial will follow the service in Moscow, KS. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to the America Cancer Society or Angel's for Animals in care of Miller Mortuary.
