Janice Bell

Liberal KS ˜ Janice L. Bell, 70, Liberal, KS, died Monday, January 3, 2011, at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, Wichita, KS, following a sudden illness. ˜ She was born January 9, 1940 at Little River, KS, the daughter of Delano H. & Dorothy G. Donnelly Banister. ˜˜ She attended school at Little River, KS. She married E. H. "Pedro" Bell January 24, 1958 at Hugoton, KS, he died April 30, 2005. Janice moved to Liberal in 1959˜ and was a Avon representative for many years, for the past sixteen years, she was sales clerk in the Jewelry Department at Wal Mart. ˜ She was a member of the St. Anthony Catholic Church, and the Liberal Women's bowling League. ˜ Janice loved being with her family and watching grandson in auto racing. ˜˜ She is survived by four sons, Max Bell and wife Teri, Fairview, UT; Pattrick Bell znd wife Ann, Liberal, KS:˜ Chris Bell and wife Angie,˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜ Liberal, KS: Chigger Bell and wife Shelley, Liberal, KS; one brother,˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜ Daryl Banister and wife Ellen, Augusta, KS; one sister, Cheryl Handy,˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜ Edmond, OK;˜ nine grandchildren seven great-grandchilren.˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜ She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Eldon Banister. ˜˜ Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:00 P.M.˜ Friday at St. Anthony Catholic Church, with Rev. James P. Dieker presiding. ˜˜˜ Vigil service will be˜ 7:00 P.M. Thursday at the church. ˜˜˜ Interment will be in the Restlawn Memorial Gardens. ˜˜˜˜ Friends may call at the Miller Mortuary˜ 9 A.M.-4 P.M.˜ Thursday. ˜ The family suggests that memorials be sent to the Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, in care of the mortuary.
