Plains, KS ˜ Irene Culver, 95, Plains, KS, died Monday, September 12, 2011, at Hays Medical Center, Hays, KS. ˜ She was born April 23, 1916 at Plains, KS, the daughter of Reinhart J. &˜ Vena V. Garrison Langhofer. ˜ She graduated Plains High School in 1934.˜ She worked at the Plains State Bank for thirteen years and was secretary for JB Services for fifteen years. ˜ She was a member of the Christian Church, Plains, KS. ˜ O?n May 18, 1947, she married Clyde Culver at Plains, KS, he died January 8, 1979. ˜ She is survived by one son, Cloyce Culver, Norton, KS ; one daughter, Connie Ernst and husband Dennis, Hays, KS;˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜ six grandchildren and˜ one˜ great-grandchild.˜ She was˜ preceded˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜ in death by her parents, a sister Helen McClaren,˜ and a grandson. ˜˜ Funeral services will be conducted˜ 10:30 A.M. Saturday at the Christian Church, Plains, KS, with Pastor Rich O'Toole presiding. ˜˜ Interment will be in the Plains Cemetery. ˜˜ Friends may call at the Miller Mortuary, Liberal, KS, 9 A.M.-8 P.M.
