Amarillo TX ˜ Helen M. Stubby, 67, Amarillo, TX, a former Liberal resident died Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at BSA Hospice, Amarillo, TX. ˜ She was born March 2, 1944 at Salina, KS, the daughter of Marchy G. & Leonora Newlin Cook. ˜˜ Moving to Liberal, she was a cook and waitress at Sally Ann's and the Haymow Club for many years. ˜ She married Willis D. Stubby December 12, 1964 at Abilene, KS, he died January 4, 2010. ˜˜ She is survived by one son, Bert Stubby and Kimberly, Turpin, OK; one daughter Susan Stubby and companion Cece Kern, Amarillo, TX: eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. ˜ Graveside services will be conducted 10:30 A.M.˜ Friday at Liberal Cemetery˜ with Rev.
