Gary Lee Knoll

Gary Lee Knoll, 59, of Liberal, passed away on Thursday March 7, 2019 Liberal, KS. He was born on November 28, 1959 to Marcellus and Betty (Dechant) Knoll at Hays, KS. Gary attended Liberal and Southwestern Heights High Schools. Gary served in the US Marine Corps from 1977-1980 where he was stationed at Twenty Nine Palms, CA. After his service in the US Marine Corps he then attended WTI College, majoring in Computers. He had worked at Knoll International, oilfield, National Beef Packing, and Hinkley Equipment. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, the outdoors, camping and fishing. Gary is survived by his Three Sons, Gary Lee Knoll Jr, of Olathe, KS, Christopher Knoll and wife Katie of Fort Riley, KS, Jonathan Knoll of Olathe, KS; Four Brothers, Marlin Knoll of Liberal, KS, Blake Knoll of Liberal, KS, Blaine Knoll and wife Sheila of Ft. Collins, CO, Rodney Knoll and wife Bethany of Colorado Springs, CO; Two Sisters, Debra Arellano and husband Eli of Centralia, Mo, Sarah Chancey and husband Bob of Satanta, KS; Four grandchildren- Isabella, Jacob, Ava, Liam Knoll; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and infant twin sisters- Janice and Janet Knoll. Inurnment at a National Cemetery will take place at a later date.
