˜ Liberal KS˜ ˜ Evelyn I. Beaty, 77, Avon, OH, a former Liberal resident, died Saturday, February 25, 2012, at Avon Health & Rehabilitation, Avon, OH. ˜ She was born September 16, 1933 at Liberal, KS, the daughter of Harry A. & Pearl V. Comstock Walker. ˜ She attended Liberal schools and graduated Liberal High School in 1952.˜˜ She worked at Keep U Neat Cleaners and later was a teller at Citizens State Bank for eleven years, retiring in 2006. ˜ On March 31, 1955, she married Lee Roy Beaty in Liberal, KS. He died April 4, 1995. ˜ She was a member of the South Church of God, Liberal, KS. ˜ She is survived by one son, Rodney Beaty and wife Darlyn, Liberal, KS; one daughter, Connie Burtsfield and husband Tom, Danville, IN; four grandchildren, Trey Burtsfield,˜ Shala Wills, Kileigh Beaty & Briana DeCamp; two great-grandchildren Cale & Avery Wills; niece Sherry Palmer and husband Conny, Shamrock, TX.˜ She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters. ˜˜ Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the South Church of God with Pastor Ron Davis presiding. ˜˜ Interment will be in the Liberal Cemetery. ˜˜ Friends may call at the Miller Mortuary 4-8 P.M. Thursday, 9 A.M.-8 P.M. Friday and 9-11 A.M. Saturday. ˜˜ The family suggests that memorials be sent to the South Church of God or to Humane Society in care of the mortuary.
