Ethel Sawyers

Ethel Virginia Sawyers, 87, of Tyrone, OK passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at her grandson's home in Yuma, AZ.

She was born on June 6, 1934 to Roy Raymond and Beatrice (Baker) Roberson at Serene, CO.

On July 16, 1953 she married Paul Kenneth Sawyers; he preceded her in death on February 27, 1997.

Ethel is survived by her children, Paula Kay Wyer and husband Francis of Tyrone, OK, Steven A. Sawyers and wife Jani of Amarillo, TX, Debra Sawyers of Tyrone, OK, Paul "Casey" Sawyers and wife Kisha of Colcord, OK, and Crystal Sawyers of Whitewater, KS; 14 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Wonda, Wilma, Juanita, Linda, and Roydeen.

Viewing will be 9am to 7pm Monday, November 15th at Miller Mortuary.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 am Tuesday November 16th at the South Church of God in Liberal with Pastor Presephonie Fuller, officiating.

Burial will follow at the Tyrone Oklahoma Cemetery.
