Edwin R. Bradford

Edwin R. Bradford, 90, passed away November 7, 2012 at Aberdeen in Olathe, KS. He was born December 28,1921 at Hooker, OK to James & Edna "Hecox" Bradford.˜ He married Allie Lou Wooden November 18,1945.˜ She survives. Edwin was First Sergeant in the army in World War II from 1942-1945.˜ He moved to Liberal in 1936 and was manager at Radke Light Lumber Company from 1945 till his retirement in 1986.˜ He moved to Olathe, KS in 2004. He was a member of Masonic Lodge, VFW, Odd Fellows, First United Methodist Church, & Past President of Rotary Club where he had 23 years perfect attendance. Other survivors are two sons, Jim Bradford and wife (Mary), Olathe, KS; Merl Bradford and wife (Kathy) Riverside, MO; four grandsons and two granddaughters.˜ He was preceded in death by a son, Allen Bradford in 1968; a daughter, Edwina Bradford in 2008; and two sisters, Joye Garrison and Betty Bradford. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at the First United Methodist Church Chapel with Pastor David Randall officiating.˜ Interment will be in Liberal Cemetery.˜ Friends may call at Miller Mortuary Monday 7-8 P.M.
