Edith May (Fast) Tuman of Elkhart, Kansas, 96, passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2014. She was born on September 24, 1917 to Charles and Almedia (Wallis) Fast in Trinadad, Colorado and married Cecil Lee Tuman on November 27, 1937 in Liberal, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother: Richard, sisters: Alice, Deloris, Lucille, and Esther. Her survivors include her son, Jack Tuman and wife Bev from Hugoton, KS; granddaughter, Cindy Ely and husband Tom from Wildwood, MO; grandson, Rusty Tuman and wife Lindsay from Hugoton, KS; two great grandsons: Weston Ely and wife Kacey from Pacific, MO; Gregory Ely and wife Jessica from Dittmer, MO; three great-great grandchildren: Charlotte, Gabi, and William Ely; and many nieces & nephews. Edith enjoyed attending First Baptist Church in Elkhart, gardening, horseback riding, crocheting, and most of all spending time with much loved family and friends. Visitation will be 12:00 Noon to 8:00 PM Friday, September 12, 2014 at Miller Mortuary. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Liberal City Cemetery in Liberal, Kansas with Pastor Ed Richards officiating.
