Demetria "Dee Dee" Ward

Demetria "Dee Dee" Ward, 51, formerly of Liberal, passed away on Friday, March 3, 2023 at her home in Wichita, KS.

She was born on June 10, 1971 to Nelson Ward Jr. and Gloria Witherspoon in Liberal, KS.

Dee Dee was a graduate of Liberal High School: class of 1990. She also attended classes at Seward County Community College. She enjoyed comedy, detailing her 07' Dodge Charger, and loved to laugh. Dee Dee also loved spending time with her family whenever she could. She was a member of Bibleway Church of God In Christ in Liberal.

She is survived by her Daughter, Deja Webber of Wichita, KS; Mother Gloria Witherspoon-Bailem and Husband Steven of Liberal, KS; Father, Nelson Ward Jr. of Wichita, KS;  Three Brothers, Terry Livingston of Wichita, KS, Landrix Bailem of Mount Vernon, AL, and Nelson Ward, III of Ft. Lauderdale, Fl; Three Sisters, Jill Remis of Los Angeles, CA, Heather Livingston of Dallas, TX, and Megan Ward of Wichita, KS.

Viewing will be 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm Thursday, March 9, 2023, at Miller Mortuary, Liberal, Kansas.

Funeral Services will be 10:30 am Friday, March 10, 2023, at the Bibleway Church of God In Christ.

Burial will take place in the Liberal City Cemetery.
