David James Yourdan

David James Yourdan, 62, of Liberal, passed away on January 1, 2022.

He was born on July 3, 1959 to James and Laura Yourdan (Moersch) in Waterford, MI. David worked as a School Bus Driver for USD 480. On June 5, 1982 he married Sherry Cornelson in Shattuck, OK.

He was a member of The Tea Party, and Fellowship Baptist Church. He enjoyed reading, spending time with his Grandchildren, and driving the school bus. He was an active member in the Fellowship Baptist Church bus ministry.

David is survived by Two Daughters, April Buell and Husband Clyde of El Paso, TX, Rachel Booth and Husband Seth of Liberty Hill, TX,; Son, Matthew Yourdan and Wife Erika of Ovalo, TX; Seven Grandchildren (soon to be Eight!); Sister, Sally Stiles and Husband Tom of Yale, MI; Brother, Larry Yourdan of Sandusky, MI; Sister in-Law Grace Yourdan of Imperial, MO; Along with several Nieces and Nephews.

Also Survived by Gaudelupe Marquez and her Three Children, considered family by Dave.

He was preceded in death by Father, James Francis Yourdan, Mother, Laura May Moersch, Wife, Sherry Denise Yourdan, Brother, Richard William Yourdan, Sister, Lynda Lee Yourdan and Two Grandsons, Hayden Matthew Yourdan and Adrian Thomas Booth.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2022, 10:30 am at  Fellowship Baptist Church, with Tyler Prater, officiating.

Burial of Ashes will take place at the Liberal City Cemetery.
