Danny Ray Love Sr.

Danny Ray Love Sr, 65, of Liberal, passed away on Saturday October 8, 2022 at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal.

He was born on June 1, 1957 to Robert Love and Lola (Smith) Morris at Liberal, KS.

On November 5, 1981 he married Sandra Castorena in Liberal, KS.

Danny was a graduate of Liberal High School; Class of 1975. He was a well known Cook around the Liberal area and began his career at the Liberal Inn when he was fifteen years old; he worked his way up to Kitchen Manager. Danny enjoyed fishing, watching sports, and singing around the house. He also loved to be with his family and his grandchildren that he loved dearly. Danny was a joy to be around, loved to tell stories while visiting with folks, he never met a stranger, and would leave you with smile.
He was a member of the Trinity Missionary Baptist Church in Liberal.

Danny is survived by his loving wife Sandra, Two Daughters, Stefanie Lewis of ND, Santoya Love of Liberal, KS; two sons, Danny Ray Love, Jr. of Enid, OK, Jonathan C Love of Liberal, KS; Nine Grandchildren, One Great Grandson; Four Brothers, Larry Smith of Sacramento, Ca, Robert Love, Jr. of Duncan, OK, Charles Ricky Smith of CA, Rodney Williams of Sioux Falls, SD; Two Sisters, Vickie Love of Liberal, KS, Aleisa K Love of Liberal, KS; Step Father, Eugene Morris of Liberal, KS; Step Brother, Eugene Morris Jr. of Liberal, KS.

He was preceded in death by Mother, Lola Mae Morris.

Viewing will be 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm Thursday, October 13, 2022,  at Miller Mortuary, Liberal, Kansas.

Funeral Services will be 10:30 am Friday, October 14, 2022, at the First Southern Baptist Church, with Pastor Bobby Love Sr, officiating. Burial will take place in the Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
