Chris Dudley

Chester OK ˜ Chris Dudley, 39,˜ Chester, OK,˜ a former Liberal resident,˜ died Friday, November 11, 2011 at Seiling, OK, of injuries sustained in an industrial accident. ˜˜ He was born July 14, 1972 at Liberal, KS, the son of Floyd L. & Leta I. Turpin Dudley. ˜ He attended Liberal schools and graduated in 1991.˜ He worked in the oilfield several years, the City of Liberal Street Dept,˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜ Halliburton Energy Services.˜ For the past six years he was employed at Gore Nitrogen Seiling, OK˜ for˜ six years, living in Chester, OK for the two years. ˜ Chris was an avid motorcyclist and four wheeler enthusiast, but foremost he loved being Dad to Garret, they did everything together. ˜ He is survived by a son Garrett Lee Dudley,˜ Chester, OK; former companion Andrea Forbes, Pueblo, CO; one step-daughter Aspen Rae "Breezie" Benzie, Groton, CT; his mother˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜ Leta Rausher, Liberal, KS; his father and step mother Floyd & Glenda˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜ Dudley, Liberal; a brother Craig Dudley, Dallas, TX; sister Joanne Shafer˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜ and husband Richard, Liberal,˜ KS; his grandmothers Maydean Dudley,˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜ Liberal, KS & Nellie Turpin, Tucson, AZ; nieces and nephews, Samantha˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜ Shafer, Jasmine Dreadfullwater, Derick & Alex Shafer; two˜ "brothers"˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜ Monty "Scotter" Gorer,˜ Chester,˜ OK & Anthony Hill, Liberal, KS. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers Howard Dudley & Harry E. Turpin and step-father Billy Rausher. ˜ Funeral services will be conducted 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, at the Western Avenue Church of Christ, Liberal, with Dusty &˜ Michael Graves. & pastor Ron Davis presiding. ˜ Friends may call at the Miller Mortuary 9 A.M.-8 P.M.
