Bonnie M. Springmeyer

Bonnie M. Springmeyer, 91, of Liberal, passed away on Wednesday February 21, 2024 in Liberal, KS.  

She was born on June 9, 1932 to Jesse and Rachel (Wells) Hill at Hardesty, OK.

On August 23, 1953 she married Vernon H. Springmeyer; he preceded her in death in 1968.

She was a graduate of Guymon High School of Guymon, OK; class of 1953. Bonnie and Vernon lived in Tyrone, OK with four daughters; they later moved to Liberal in 1970. Bonnie held several positions while working including the Warren Hotel and Engel's South Conoco,  She enjoyed quilting, watching game shows, and cartoons. Bonnie loved being with her family. She was a member of Liberal VFW Women's Auxiliary. She was a long time member of the Liberal First Church of the Nazarene.

Bonnie is survived by Three Daughters, Vernie O' Moore and husband Kevin of Liberal, KS, Mary Mauldin and husband Johnny Blackmore of Liberal, KS, Joyce O'Moore and husband Brian of Carthage, MO, Brother, Richard Hill and friend Gail of Woodward, OK; 14 Grandchildren, 23 Great Grandchildren, and three Great Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband, Vernon H Springmeyer, Daughter, Judy Eckland,
two Brothers, Fred Hill and Robert Hill; Son in Law, James Mauldin; Nieces.

Viewing will be held Friday, February 23, 2024, 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Miller Mortuary with the family present from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm to greet friends.
     
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2024, 10:00 am at the Miller Mortuary Chapel, with Pastors Elizabeth Morgan and Dave Hoffman, officiating.
 
Burial will take place in the Tyrone Cemetery.
