Robert Lee "Bob" Crane, 73, of Hugoton, passed away Wednesday October 4, 2017 at University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City, Kansas. He was born on March 1, 1944 to Walter and Sarah Gracie (Armour) Crane at Dodge City, Kansas. Robert worked as a technician in the gas industry. On October 7, 1967 he married Marilyn Carlson in Liberal, Kansas. He was a member of The First Christian Church of Hugoton, a lifetime member of the Kansas University Alumni Association, Past member of the Masonic Lodge of Hugoton. Robert is survived by his loving spouse Marilyn of Hugoton, (would have been 50 years October 7, 2017), Daughter, Meridith Crane of Olathe, Kansas; Son, Rob Crane of Olathe, Kansas; Sister, Linda Teel of Hugoton. He was preceded in death by his Mother, Sarah Gracie (Armour) Crane, Father, Walter Eugene Crane, two Brothers, Charles Eugene Crane, Donald Ray Crane, Nephew, Ronald Eugene Crane, two Nieces, Charla Ann Holder, Jeanetta Lynn Crane, Father-in-law, Elmer Carlson, Mother-in-law Mary Carlson-Parrott. Visitation will be held at the First Christian Church of Hugoton from noon until service time. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, October 9, 2017 at the First Christian Church, of Hugoton with Pastor Heath Kelly, officiating. Burial will take place at Hugoton Cemetery. Memorial Contributions are to the Pheasant Heaven Charities, in care of Miller Mortuary, PO Box 826, Liberal, KS 67905.
