Betty Jean Schroeder

Liberal KS ˜ Betty Jean Schroeder, 83, Liberal, KS, died Friday, December 30, 2011 at Southwest Medical Center, Liberal, KS. ˜ She graduated Liberal High School, and was secretary for Rosel Energy for over twenty-five years, retiring in 2001. ˜ She was a member of the V.F.W. Lane Day Post #3166 Auxiliary, Liberal, KS. ˜ On August 18, 1968, she married Lowell "Jack" Schroeder at Hooker, OK, he died January 10, 2004. ˜ Betty is survived by four sons, Larry Starnes and wife Judy, Springfield, MO;˜ Ronald Starnes, Cushing, OK;˜ J. Hubert Schroeder, Perryton, TX; Jerry Schroeder and wife Chris, Tyrone, OK; one brother, Jay D. Forsythe, Seattle, WA;˜ four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.˜ She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers. ˜˜˜ Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at Liberal Cemetery, with Rev. Rex Petty presiding. ˜ Friends may call at the Miller Mortuary 4-8 P.M. Monday, the family will meet with friends 6-7 P.M. ˜˜ In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Betty Jean Schroeder Memorial Fund, in care of the mortuary.
