BETTY J. HERNDON

Betty J. Herndon, 78, died Thursday morning, May 2, 2013 at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, KS. Betty was born October 19, 1934 at Davis, OK to Orvel and Maggie (Parlie) Nixon. She married Kenneth F. Herndon on June 24, 1950 at Perryton, TX. He preceeded her in death. She is survived by a granddaughter, Cynthia Harris of Haysville, KS; son-in-law, Phillip Eade, Liberal, KS; daughter-in-law, Virginia Evans, Derby, KS; and sister Sandy Chronister or Davis, OK. In addition of her husband she was also preceeded in death by her parents; a son Kenneth F. Herndon, Jr.; a daughter Brenda Herndon; grandson, Joseph F Herndon; 1 brother and 3 sisters. A dual memorial service will be held at 1071 S Clay in Liberal KS on June 8th, 2013 at 1;00pm for Betty and Geneva M. Herndon (Sister-in-Law); Geneva passed away on February 23rd, 2013.
