Arleigh Dean Agan, 88, of Liberal, KS passed away on Sunday May 2, 2021 at his home.

He was born on April 5, 1933 to Herbert and Inez (Allison) Agan in Oberlin, KS.

On August 11, 1957 he married Ruby Williams in Colby, KS.

Arleigh grew up on his family's farm until he enlisted into the US Army where he served in France. Upon his discharge from the Army he and his wife lived in Salina, KS; eventually settling in Liberal, KS in August 1966. Growing up on a farm, he had an aptitude for mechanics and enjoyed repairing things. He owned several office supply and office equipment businesses from 1963 through 1979. His most notable business associations include Tri State Office Products, Woolwines/Big A Auto Parts, Advanced Business Systems, and Car Quest. Arleigh officially retired in 1994 but stayed active throughout his retirement. Arleigh enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing the guitar, harmonica, and tinkering with computers. He was a member of  the Liberal ELKS Lodge, the SW Kansas Model Railroader's Club, and the Liberal VFW where he played on the VFW Pool League.

Arleigh is survived by his loving wife Ruby, Five Daughters, Janet Stapleton of Overland Park, KS, Jacqualyn Humphrey of Hutchinson, KS, Julie Pankey of Olathe, KS, Jolene Agan of Wichita, KS, and Jeannie Robertson and husband Mike of Olathe, KS, and One Son, Joel Agan of Liberal, KS; Sister, Beverley Gaines of Oberlin, KS; Brother, Leland Agan of Liberal, KS; Sister-in-Law, Charlene Peterson of Wichita, KS; 14 Grandchildren and 19 Great Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and Three Brothers, Dennis Agan, Jerry Agan, and Rick Agan.

There will be no viewing as cremation has taken place.

A Memorial Service is not scheduled at this time and may be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers to the home the family requests to please consider donating to your local VFW the charity of the donor's choice in support of Veterans.
