Aline Johnson

Liberal KS ˜ Aline "Mandy" Johnson, 102, Liberal, KS, died Sunday, August 29, 2010 at Southwest Medical Center, Liberal, KS. ˜ She was born May 15, 1908 in Beaver County, Oklahoma, the daughter of William B. & Mary S. Lauderback Wilgus. ˜˜ She attended Bellview Grade School and Forgan High School. She was a very active˜ member of the First Church of God, Liberal, KS. Mandy loved to be with her family and many friends, her flowers and gardening, cooking and baking for others, and to read, sew and quilt. ˜ She married Sam Johnson on June 27, 1926 at Greenough, OK, he died December 31, 1982. ˜˜ She is survived by two granddaughters, Cindy Stroup, Roola, MO; Sudsy Smith, Springfield, MO;˜˜ seven˜ great-grandchildren; sixteen great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.˜ She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons Bob & Don Johnson,˜ four brother and three sisters. ˜˜ Funeral service will conducted˜ 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at Miller Chapel with Rev. Stanley Lehnert presiding. ˜˜ Interment will be in the Liberal Cemetery. ˜˜ Memorials may be sent to Liberal Good Samaritan Center in care of the mortuary. ˜˜ Condolences may be sent to the family at millermortuary.net.
